As some of you may know, we currently live in Sunnyvale, California. We will, however, be returning in June and early July to move our things to California.
We will, most likely, be living in Silicon Valley for many years. Dana has an excellent job with a lot of growth potential.
This will be the last celebration at the Diederich farm for at least many years.
So this is our third annual event, and it will take place on 10-July-2009, starting after people get off of work. So any time after 5pm. Here are DirectionsToBurningManIII.
This is the general idea.
We invite everyone we like to our home, where we have constructed a 35 foot tall 'man'. This 'man' we will burn as a finale to the evening. Before that, there will be much eating and shooting off of fireworks.
For SpringEquinox2009, we weren't able to provide most of the food. Fortunes have changed, so we will provide a fair variety of foods and drinks this time, as well as a little pile of fireworks. However, we encourage people to bring their own foods.
Unfortunately, I had disable editing on this Wiki because the nasty bots have come and vandalized it automatically. I'm going to try to add some protection against that at some point before the party. I'd like to get people to register what they plan on bring.
Also...this is a BYOB kinda gathering so please feel free to bring it all ! :)
Bring chairs! You are welcome to bring tents if you want to camp out :)
